Located 3.5 hours drive north of Auckland, Paihia is nestled in a sheltered inlet in the heart of the Bay of Islands, a maritime park boasting over 140 unspoilt, sandy islands.

How to get here:

• By car – Just over three hour's drive from Auckland on State Highway One
• By coach – From Auckland, Inter City and Northliner service to Paihia
• By air – Air NZ Link fly to Kerikeri, and a shuttle meets all flights

Directions:

When driving into Paihia from the South, Bayview Road is the first on the left past the wharf.
From the Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel, it’s just 30 metres walk to the waterfront and 1min to Paihia  wharf and village.
